The entry-level model will be offered with a tuned version of the Evora's 3.5-litre V6 churning out around 300 bhp while the mid-range version gets the 414bhp 5.0 liter V8 from the Lexus IS-F. The flagship Espirit will be propelled by the 4.8-litre V-10 putting out a staggering 550bhp which will be found under the hood of the upcoming LF-A supercar.
A Six-Speed semi-automatic paddle shift transmission will be supplying power to the wheels providing this mean machine performance level that is out of this world. A 0-60 mph sprint time of under 4 seconds along with a top speed of 200mph is expected.
The interior of the Espirit will follow the footsteps taken by the Evora by offering a more luxurious trim in addition to other creature comforts found in high-end cars. The asking price for this vehicle that was made famous by the James Bond in the The Spy Who Loved me is around £75,000 and will reach an astounding figure of £150,000 for the V10.
The design has elements from the original Giorgetto Giugiaro's 1976 version with a modern interpretation. The rear somewhat reminds me of the current generation Ferrari F430's back especially the blackened portion with 2 red indicator lamps. Production might begin in 2012 with the decision strongly influence by the sales performance of the Evora. Will we get to see Daniel Craig trashing this car in the future?
