Hartge Gives The BMW X5 A Boost
Among the technical changes made by Hartge over the 'regular' version of BMW X5 is a pimped 3-litre diesel engine producing 328 hp (241 kW) at 4400 rpm. Hartge also installed sports spring set with level control system for the rear axle, which lowers the vehicle by up to 30 mm. The 22 inch rims for ultra-wide tyres – 295/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear adds to better handling & stabillity. As a result of these technical modification, Hartge's version of the X5 takes only 6.1 seconds to make the century sprint(0 - 100km/h impressive for a 2.2 ton vehicle). Top speed for this X5 is also increased from 235 to 244 km/h.
No modified vehicle is complete with aesthetic add-ons to differentiate it from the normal breed. Hartge emblems sits comfortably where a standard BMW logo will be. The exterior is laced with front spoiler, the diffuser-like rear skirt and the two-part side sills in PUR-RIM form a harmonious ensemble that, naturally, comes with a ABE homologation (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis – ABE).
The price tag for an exclusive BMW x5 is € 87,277.47 (including 19% VAT).
